Another AirBNB

Charlie and I headed up to Pennsylvania to see our son in his college cabaret.

I searched on AirBNB for overnight accommodations which turned out to be a bonafide bed and breakfast in western Pennsylvania.

Charlie caught a few minutes seconds of practice before we headed out to dinner and THE SHOW.

This is our second stay at an AirBNB rental.  We have not been disappointed.  Our plans for touring the southwestern US will also include AirBNB.

I was not perked nor paid to write this post.

Have you ever stayed at an AirBNB? Result?

Welcome to The Glade, where the second generation of renovations has just begun and the mania about our home, music and other passions fill our days and nights. We’re Charlie and Jo in the music world; Mary Jo and Charles to family; and JoJo and Charlie to each other. We are renovating a midcentury house in a Victorian historic district where we want to live there the rest of our lives. It's a 1946 house located in Maryland. We were married in this house. Thus far (pre-blog) we refinished cabinets, added a window seat (still working on the cushion), rearranged a wall in the guest house due to sink/vanity replacement, planted a vegetable garden, and other quick and not-so-quick fixes. So this latest zeal for construction is the result of my having lived here since 1997 and feeling a need to ready the house for the next chapter and beyond.

  1. That looks like a very interesting place to stay. I’ve never stayed at one, but I haven’t been traveling much since I moved here. I like it too much at home, I guess.

    1. I love traveling and definitely prefer staying in flats, apts, B and Bs, etc. to hotels/motels. The experience always adds to the trips in some way. Jo
