2 Small Mirrors

I stopped by the Model Home Interior Clearance Center because I’m looking for a few items.

This small stool would be perfect.

I didn’t find a vanity stool.

I think we need a shower bench for the far end if the master shower for storage.

I would also like to have a bench with some storage for the master shower.

Finally I need a couple of small mirrors.

I've missed having a mirror in the entrance.

One for the spot in the mudroom where I removed the antique mirror which I plan to use in the master bathroom.

The frame of the mirror in the conservatory bathroom should be painted a fun color.

I also need a smallish mirror for the conservatory bathroom which I really can’t decide on until we install the backsplash.

This space will ultimately need a very special size mirror after the backsplash is tiled.

Until then I did find a reasonably priced ($15) square mirror the frame of which I’ll probably paint.

The back of the mirror is labeled "Made on Earth". Whew!

I was interested to see that it was not imported from outer space.

I’ll check back from time to time to see what’s new at the Model Home Interior Clearance Center.

Welcome to The Glade, where the second generation of renovations has just begun and the mania about our home, music and other passions fill our days and nights. We’re Charlie and Jo in the music world; Mary Jo and Charles to family; and JoJo and Charlie to each other. We are renovating a midcentury house in a Victorian historic district where we want to live there the rest of our lives. It's a 1946 house located in Maryland. We were married in this house. Thus far (pre-blog) we refinished cabinets, added a window seat (still working on the cushion), rearranged a wall in the guest house due to sink/vanity replacement, planted a vegetable garden, and other quick and not-so-quick fixes. So this latest zeal for construction is the result of my having lived here since 1997 and feeling a need to ready the house for the next chapter and beyond.
