The Master Suite Is Primalicious

Charlie has finished priming the master suite bathroom, hallway and closet.

I have plans to paint the hallway and closet “Moonshine” by Benjamin Moore.  I have also used this color in the mudroom and main upstairs hall.

The upstairs hall ceiling and master bedroom ceiling are pale pink.  I may continue with that these or commit to Edgecomb Gray on the ceilings (which I used downstairs).

That’s the next decision and paint project.

Welcome to The Glade, where the second generation of renovations has just begun and the mania about our home, music and other passions fill our days and nights. We’re Charlie and Jo in the music world; Mary Jo and Charles to family; and JoJo and Charlie to each other. We are renovating a midcentury house in a Victorian historic district where we want to live there the rest of our lives. It's a 1946 house located in Maryland. We were married in this house. Thus far (pre-blog) we refinished cabinets, added a window seat (still working on the cushion), rearranged a wall in the guest house due to sink/vanity replacement, planted a vegetable garden, and other quick and not-so-quick fixes. So this latest zeal for construction is the result of my having lived here since 1997 and feeling a need to ready the house for the next chapter and beyond.

  1. I notice sunlight coming in through the closet window toward the door to BR. Makes me think a glass closet door would be a good idea…maybe frosted or curtained if the closet contents aren’t to be seen.

    1. I cannot wait to outfit this closet. Since it has a window it would be large enough for a small nursery but since we’re not having any more children, closet it is. (My clothes have been lying in a heap for two years now.) Jo
