We have a red expandable hanging rack that one upon a time hung in our son’s closet when he was a small boy. More recently it was in the small laundry of The Cottage. Unfortunately
Unfortunately it wasn’t very useful there so I replaced it with the smaller of the two cabinets I showed you here. I had to decide whether to get rid of it or find another place to use it.
The rack may be collapsed or expanded according to the space alloted.
Since the size of the rack is adjustable it could be used in lots of places, but it’s not very sturdy.
The rack is hanging on a slant following the angle of the steps.
Finally I opted for hanging it in the stairway leading to the basement where we keep aprons and baseball caps for quick retrieval.
I’ve put all my aprons in the wash so they will be ready for use when hanging on the red rack.
I hope this spot is a happy resting place for our red hanging rack. Maybe someday our son will want it for his children.
